Concretta is a polished, concrete-look decorative plaster (a microcement). It delivers the durability and clean, monolithic look of poured concrete in a lighter, more refined application — ideal for wet areas like shower floors and walls, where it can be sealed for water resistance while still showing subtle, handcrafted variation and depth.
Concrete's look, without concrete's limits
Microcement finishes like Concretta are applied just a few millimeters thick, layer over layer, then burnished smooth. That thinness is the magic: you get the seamless, grout-free continuity of a poured surface without the weight, the slab, or the visual busyness of tile joints. Walls, shower pan, and surround can read as one uninterrupted plane.
Even though the surface is smooth and modern, it keeps the hand-troweled variation that gives real concrete its depth — soft clouding and movement that a manufactured tile can't imitate.
Engineered for water
In a shower, the substrate matters as much as the finish. Concretta is installed over a properly waterproofed assembly and then sealed with high-performance topcoats, creating a continuous, water-resistant surface with far fewer joints for water to find than a tiled wall.
The payoff is a spa-like retreat: soft, textured walls paired with a sleek, seamless floor and shower surround — a calm, monolithic envelope that's also genuinely built to live in a wet environment.

- Applied over a correctly waterproofed substrate and finished with high-performance sealers, microcement like Concretta creates a continuous, water-resistant surface well suited to showers and wet rooms — with far fewer joints than tile.
- How thick is a microcement finish?
- It is typically only about 2–3 millimeters thick, built up in thin layers. That lets it wrap surfaces seamlessly without the height and weight of tile or a concrete slab.
- Does it crack like concrete?
- When installed over a stable substrate and properly sealed, Concretta is stain- and crack-resistant and stands up well to daily use in wet environments.
