At CREEKSIDE HOMES, we've reimagined the homebuilding experience by combining award-winning design, building science, and exceptional craftsmanship into one fully integrated process.
Every decision — from architecture to construction — is guided by one goal: creating a home that feels unmistakably yours. Founded in 2003 in McMinnville, CREEKSIDE HOMES has spent two decades crafting high-performance custom homes across Oregon's wine country and greater Portland — earning 36 Best of Houzz awards and the trust of the neighbors we build for.

Andrew Burton
Andrew Burton believes exceptional homes are born where architecture, building science, craftsmanship, and nature converge.
His journey began on construction sites as a teenager, learning every aspect of homebuilding alongside local builders. By nineteen, he had founded his own company and spent years mastering the trades before evolving into custom homes and renovations throughout Oregon.
What has always distinguished Andrew is an insatiable curiosity about why buildings perform the way they do. Long before building science became mainstream, he immersed himself in understanding the relationship between materials, structure, moisture, and longevity. Rather than simply following industry convention, Andrew believes every construction method should have a purpose — using building science to guide decisions that create homes built to endure.
Andrew is also a devoted student of Kaizen, the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement. Combined with his appreciation for advanced manufacturing, it shapes a mindset of constant refinement — where every detail, process, and design is an opportunity to build better than before.
A lifelong musician, Andrew sees striking similarities between music, architecture, and craftsmanship: rhythm, composition, proportion, and emotion. Inspired by the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, he embraces biophilic design, creating homes that blur the line between indoors and outdoors while fostering a deeper connection with nature.
Although he leads the company, Andrew still enjoys working with his hands — crafting custom wood, metal, and plaster details that give every CREEKSIDE home its own character.
